Butch Walker is a singer/songwriter/producer. He has more recently released solo cd's after previously being in bands such as The Marvolous 3 and Southgang. He produces music for various artists including Pink, Avril Lavigne, Pete Yorn, Bowling for Soup, Hot Hot Heat, Katy Perry and Weezer.

He is funny and I'm sure lots will be said of his jokes or twitter posts. Well...basically anythign Butch.

Butch's New Album

As far as I can tell, the new album will be called something along the lines of "Butch Walker & The Black Widows". I am impatiently awaiting the release of this, sure to be amazing, album.

Just the other day on his own blog, (www.maybeitsjustme.biz) Butch Walker posted the lyrics to his new song "Canadian Ten". Check it out, while most people have no idea what it sounds like Butch did tweet that it sounds similar to the new Avett Bros single. Anyone listened to it yet?

What is annoying to me is that the album seems to have been done since June. And originally he said he would be on tour this fall with the new CD. However, I have heard nothing about a tour. I really want to see Butch again in Boston before I move to LA next year. But beggars can't be choosers. I will just have to wait..and wait...for the amazing album and hopefully the amazing tour as well.
